Soft drinks should be sold at school

I accept your challenge. First, even though you don't like soft drinks and it causes health issues you can't do much to stop it. I'll throw you an example. Alcohol. Even though many people don't like it, are against it, and hate it, it is still sold in stores, bars, and clubs. It causes liver failure, kills brain cells, and is the reason for drunk driving (what else would cause it?) that killed 10,322 people http://www.madd.org... Also think of the economy. http://en.wikipedia.org... Coca Cola as of 2010 sells 1.6 BILLION beverages a day. According to http://www.businessinsider.com... they make $35.1 BILLION in revenue (Income minus Expenses) If schools stopped selling Coca Cola products they'd lose a lot of money. Let's talk about schools now... If schools stopped selling Soft Drinks, they'd lose a lot of money too. They make a small, but decent profit from the vending machines that sell the Soft Drinks. I do understand that you realize that soft drinks can cause health issues, but consider these factors first.

Dress codes prevent provocative and dangerous clothing...

Should The School Dress code be strictly enforced

I accept. Dress codes prevent provocative and dangerous clothing from being worn. Furthermore, they prevent inappropriate clothing that could largely influence other students. This interfere's with studies, and overall focus in class rooms. With strict dress codes, we also prepare students for future employment. The job that student's will most likely have will involve a required attire, for example an pant suit. Student's are already prepared for such due to the dress code. Dress codes also prevent sexual assault. When provocative clothing is worn, it increases the risk of rape. With the dress codes, the risk is lowered.

You said it yourself Teachers are regarded as professionals, so they in no way must have a problem showing it. restricting certain dress code's will not help the situation they must have a specific dress code in which they can be identified and given the proper respect they deserve. Foe instance when people see a policeman they get frightened because of what he/she has on, that's the type of authority teachers most use in class rooms.

must teacher's also wear school uniform

Imagine that a class is sitting at their desks waiting for their class to begin when their teacher walks in wearing old sweatpants and a stained tank-top. Would you imagine that those students would listen to the teacher or take the teacher seriously?. If a teacher is dressed like a student, a student will treat the teacher like one. Vice versa, if a teacher is dressed like a grown up or an authority figure, a student will treat them like one. A student is more likely to listen to a teacher who is wearing a professional-like outfit than a teacher who is dressed sloppy.
