Soft drinks should be sold at school
Students not adults? What about COLLEGE students huh? Anyone viewing this debate in college? University/college students could use the caffeine from soft drinks to get a boost of energy. Wether they need late night studying or late night making out. Also, you are not pulling much facts or sources to prove your points. You are saying you want soft drinks banned because they are "bad". Fine lets get rid of food because they contain fats which are bad. Ever heard of pleasure? People drink beer which is bad but in moderation it's good. If students abroad drink soft drinks with moderation there won't be any or at least a lot of bad effects. In fact in moderation they have POSITIVE effects http://www.livestrong.com... Your want for banning soft drinks has weak support.
Soft drinks should be sold at school
I accept your challenge. First, even though you don't like soft drinks and it causes health issues you can't do much to stop it. I'll throw you an example. Alcohol. Even though many people don't like it, are against it, and hate it, it is still sold in stores, bars, and clubs. It causes liver failure, kills brain cells, and is the reason for drunk driving (what else would cause it?) that killed 10,322 people http://www.madd.org... Also think of the economy. http://en.wikipedia.org... Coca Cola as of 2010 sells 1.6 BILLION beverages a day. According to http://www.businessinsider.com... they make $35.1 BILLION in revenue (Income minus Expenses) If schools stopped selling Coca Cola products they'd lose a lot of money. Let's talk about schools now... If schools stopped selling Soft Drinks, they'd lose a lot of money too. They make a small, but decent profit from the vending machines that sell the Soft Drinks. I do understand that you realize that soft drinks can cause health issues, but consider these factors first.
Should kids have to wear uniform in School
I win.
Mobile phone should be allowed to school. .
Feel free to explain your reasons. I give you the chance to go first.
Mobile phone should be allowed to school. .
Ok then. . As you wish my friend. . . My reasons are given below. . . Cell phones should not be allowed in schools as they will cause distraction for both students and teachers. Even the classes might get disturbed if any student is found fiddling with their phone. The student will be at a loss as they will not be able to keep up with the class. You supply your reasons and I will too give my more reasons further. . . .
Should students be forced to wear a school uniform
I don't know of any student who would want to wear skirts in -12* weather or the hot weather...
Should students be forced to wear a school uniform
awaiting your argument
Should The School Dress code be strictly enforced
I don't think it should because why does it affect other people if I want to wear a tank top that has spaghetti straps it is my body and if I want to show cleavage I should be aloud to it teaches girls that it is up to them to not distract guys guys don't have as many rules in the dress code as girls and if you do break the dress code they make you feel like you are a slut its not like if you are wearing a tanktop that isn't revealing he will be thinking "oh look at that sexy shoulder it is so distracting" and if he does he will be distracted by anything a girl is wearing or not wearing."
Should The School Dress code be strictly enforced
I accept. Dress codes prevent provocative and dangerous clothing from being worn. Furthermore, they prevent inappropriate clothing that could largely influence other students. This interfere's with studies, and overall focus in class rooms. With strict dress codes, we also prepare students for future employment. The job that student's will most likely have will involve a required attire, for example an pant suit. Student's are already prepared for such due to the dress code. Dress codes also prevent sexual assault. When provocative clothing is worn, it increases the risk of rape. With the dress codes, the risk is lowered.
