Feminism is anti-religious
I would like to thank my opponent for this debate. To begin, I would like to point out just how absurd the motion put forward is. "Feminism is anti-religious". Currently there are 21 religions classified as "major" world religions, with hundreds upon hundreds more denominations and indegenous religions. To state that feminism is against "religion" boradly is simply absurd. This notion is so absurd in fact, that I only need one example to disprove it. In Sikhism scriptures, it is very clearly state that women are equal to men[1]. I would like to put forward that Sikhism is a religion, and that because it regards women as equal to men, it is not against feminism.
