Why would a uniform prevent you from expressing your feelings? While a uniform may take away your ability to express yourself via the clothes you wear, you just then have to express yourself in other, more tangible ways. Does a uniform prevent you from growing your hair long or cutting it short? You can wear buttons or color your hair or wear different color socks... all kinds of things! Learning to be different when everyone looks "the same" will be a valuable life lesson for you. It would not be boring. It will be the best thing that's ever happened to you as a person. Plus, you don't have to spend so much money on clothes and use it instead on cell phones or video games or Pokemon cards or whatever you kids do nowadays. Maybe you don't have to worry about getting randomly killed by a gang for wearing the wrong color too. Nobody can bully you about your clothes, because they will be wearing the same ones. Who knows? With all the extra time you get from not shopping for clothes, maybe you can get your homework done or learn something instead. School uniforms are the bomb.
